Level: 4 CS Original | Libertarian Haase is the only third party candidate in the race, so that would be the only option for Murkowski to join a new party for a run. Haase would surely press Murkowski on the Federal Reserve, which is his focus. "Let's take the Federal Reserve, nationalize it and take that income earning capacity and turn it over to the people to finance Social Security and Medicare," Haase said. Level: 12 CS Original | So he's a fascist running for the Libertarian Party? I'm taking nationalization of the fed to mean government will take over its operation.

President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho: porn star and five-time ultimate smackdown wrestling champion! Level: 150 CS Original | It's ironic because Libertarians typically are against nationalization of any private entity (even though the Federal Reserve itself actually isn't private, that doesn't stop CTs from claiming so). Many paleo-conservatives I've heard also claim that the Communist Manifesto calls for a "private central bank" like the Federal Reserve, but they are just blatantly lying, it actually calls to nationalize all banks, including central ones. Whoops! But yes, the official libertarian stance in general is against central banking and in favor of magical, impossible-to-do-today gold backed currency.

Life's Too Short Level: 1 CS Original | >>Are Libertarians against (majority that is) the fed in the first place?<< As a libertarian(Though I admittedly lean left, as is/does most of my family) the answer sadly would be yes. I'm not speaking personally, or for my family but for most others I do come across, the feeling I generally get is the "want" for more transparency. Speaking personally, I come from a more traditional northeastern black libertarian family, who's main concerns hover more around personal and civil liberties then economic. So we don't really pay much attention to the fed, other then to be more responsible.

Level: 1 CS Original | The Fed Reserve is already nationalized despite it being partially both private and public. This libertarian sounds like another out of many that makes the party and ideology look inconsistent.
