Level: 150 CS Original | It was a Masonic lodge in Italy that was implicated in some financial scandals involving the Vatican bank -- mostly because some members were involved -- and accused of tons of other things like being a shadow government, murdering people, etc. Essentially it's "guilt by association" meaning that a few members do something wrong, therefore it's a vast Masonic conspiracy. I think it largely happened because (at least at the time, I'm not sure about today) Italy didn't have the freedom of/from association laws that we enjoy in the US and various parts of Europe. We can get into it deeper than that but that's the gist of it. | |||||
