Level: 8 CS Original | One of the biggist problems with CTers is that they take a lot of books out of context. A good example of the is the book call Tragedy and Hope. I have read it; but I am not that good at putting my words to paper. I was wondering if anybody can do this; it could be fun.

Level: 9 CS Original | Hmm, I know that many CT's are based off like 7 pages in 'Tragedy and Hope' but I'm also fairly confident that most CT'ers have never ever read the book. Dr. Quigley himself has already clarified his position and his original intent and context for the pages/passages in question... so I'm not sure we could do much better than that except for providing a link to the page.

Level: 8 CS Original | Sil I do believe that thier are some that do read from the book; but are mainly looking for things that will "prove their case". Basicly they only see what they want to see. It was hearing about this book was what first sent going down CT path. Of all the people that I could of heard of it from; it was a history instrutor at the university that I went to. So I guess that even educated people could fall for them two.
