Davis-Monthan AFB
(Tucson) - Fully staffed and presently holding prisoners!!
There was a POW camp on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base between June 1945 and March 1946 and it housed 400 Germans. The POW camp no longer exists. There is no federal prison, or any other type of civilian holding facility on the base[14].
Florence
WWII prison camp NOW RENOVATED, OPERATIONAL with staff & 400 prisoners, operational capacity of 3,500.
There were a lot of POW camps in Florence, but none have been renovated or are operational[14]. There are no federal prisons in Florence that I could find, but there is a state prison[15].
Ft. Huachuca
20 miles from Mexican border, 30 miles from Nogales Rex '84 facility. Emergency Custodial Facility.
What exactly makes Ft. Huachuca a "REX-84" facility isn't known, as conspiracy theorists designate this to any military location where federal urban training occurs. While REX-84 is a real thing, Ft. Huachuca is not a real camp.
Phoenix
Federal Prison Satellite Camp. Main federal facility expanded.
There is indeed a federal prison in Phoenix. Apparently any federal prison is a FEMA camp to conspiracy theorists. I guess conspiracy theorists think federal crimes either don't exist or that federal prisoners should simply be executed[16].
Pinal County
on the Gila River - WWII Japanese detention camp. May be renovated.
There was a WWII Japanese Relocation Camp in Pinal County but it no longer exists, and thus is not being renovated. I wonder where they get their information? It "may be renovated"? Says who? Oh right, they just make this shit up.
Sedona
Sedona - site of possible UN base
There's no UN bases, but there sure are a bunch of crazies who think there are vortices all over Sedona, and they also peddle other New Age garbage in town[17][18].
Wickenburg
Airport is ready for conversion; total capacity unknown.
This is just stupid. The Wickenburg Airport is a tiny municipal airport which is probably going to be shut down due to expanding housing development, in fact the FAA and AOPA are not going to make any effort to save the airport. Conversion? Maybe to more desert[19].
Yuma County
Colorado River - Site of former Japanese detention camp (near proving grounds). This site was completely removed in 1990 according to some reports.
