End of the world doomers will probably glom onto this since earthquakes that strong are rare here. Also, HAARP did it. | |||||

 Level: 5 CS Original | I actually felt that when I got out of work. I was parked and texting my GF at 1:51 when I felt the car bouncing. I just dismissed it as a hallucination because I was extremely tired. Now I get home and read this. (yeah I copy/pasted my comment from FB. :P) | |||||

 HAIL HYDRA Level: 6 CS Original | It would be interesting to compare the seismic activity of the last 2 years with similar periods going back through the historical records. I suspect that it only seems like we have more earthquakes because we hear about even the little ones so quickly. On that note, people on the east coast have got to settle down. It was 5.8. | |||||

 Ordo Ab Chao. Level: 8 CS Original | People freak out because they don't under stand exactly how the Richter scale works. It's not a logarithmic scale, not just a 1-10 scale. You should freak out about a 7 earthquake because it's orders of magnitude higher in power than a 5 earthquake. About 100 times more powerful, actually. | |||||
