He just comes across as an angry DUDE who is pissed off with his job and doesnt much like certain kinds of kids and behaviour.

Was he acting under the jurisdiction of his job ? Yes he didnt kick the shit out the kid.
Was he overly agressive with the kid unecessarily? yes.
Was he acting under personal biases and interests? Probably yes.
Should he get into trouble for it? He probably should be warned to be less agressive with kids at worst, maybe even keep his personal life out of his role as a police officer, and perhaps learn to identify the difference between real problem kids and middle class brats.

^ In America I'm pretty sure your not allowed to touch a kid like that without cause. Just because a kid was acting like a kid in my opinion is no ground for body slamming him to the ground.

I didnt see him body slam him, I saw him force him to stay on the ground but I didnt see him throw him down to the concrete with a force that would injure him in any serious way, maybe the most that kid had would be a red mark on his butt cheek.

^ I did see a bit of a force and the kid could of got seriously hurt from the choke hold to the push on the ground I'd go with unnecessary force then.

Unless in a war zone I don't see the cause for the force applied in this situation.

Yeah he was definitely overly agressive with the kid and I would see that as an issue to have taken up with the officer.

Officer Rivieri has said in the interview this is the first time he's acted out of character but I have a feeling this isn't the first time. Just the first time he's been caught on camera.
