They're even wearing their typical bio hazard suits. Thanks Green Peace, thanks for suggesting 4 billion people starve to death, because of your contribution to the success of civilization, we'll let you pick which 4 billion should die.

What are the special powers of this wheat crop?

"The wheat's genes have been modified to lower the glycemic index and increase fibre to create a product which will improve bowel health and increase nutritional value."

Pooping is good. The only time I take issue with GM is when it hasn't been adequately tested before being introduced into an environment, when the modification is designed to make you dependent on a particular company, and when regular farmers come underfire from the company due to cross contamination of their crop due to no fault of there own.

Then you should take issue with the regulations of the country in question, not the crop itself. The United States required extensive testing before allowing commercial planting of GM crops.

when the modification is designed to make you dependent on a particular company

Intellectual property exists for a reason. If you don't want to follow an agreement, don't sign it. Simple. You sound like a damn communist.

when regular farmers come underfire from the company due to cross contamination of their crop due to no fault of there own.

Can you name any instance of that happening other than Percy Schmeisser? Didn't Monsanto settle with him for something like 600 bucks? Give me a break.
