Ugh, I have been blocked from the Conspiracy Science facebook group without warning. I said that I agree with some of Michael Moore's 'criticisms of American society', and apparently this was an adequate reason for Dobbs or someone else to block me. I wasn't aware differing opinions are now taboo at Conspiracy Science. I've quite enjoyed reading and contributing to the group, but oh well.

The Facebook group is a tad more draconian than the web site. Why didn't you start a Michael Moore thread here?

I did not block anyone for that - the only person I've blocked so far was a CT nutter. And it seems that CT nutter is having his friends try to stalk me and join the group and they all are getting denied.

On the forum, sure. On FB, I'm not so sure, since it's a LOT easier for these people to stalk. Friends of the guy I banned have been trying to friend me probably so they can message me, see my contact information and stalk me. Glad I had my privacy settings high in the first place.

I would not give the facebook crazies an inch, they will just take a mile and hang around like a fucking bad smell seeing how far they can take their shit. CTrs always have extra levels of crazy in reserve for you, why let them prove to you exactly how damn crazy they are? Sometimes it ends ugly, think of all the vindictive CTrs who go on rampages. Theyre just looking for a good excuse to pick on someone who disagrees with their insanity.

My position is that Facebook is chock full of groups that cater to conspiracies and nutters. If you want to argue with conspiracy theorists and nutters, join their group and have a blast. I do not indulge them, because that's exactly what they're looking for: someone to take their retarded theories seriously and give them attention.

I have been thanked more often than not for keeping the group free of crazy people. I'm comfortable with my actions as an admin. If you feel otherwise that's your problem, not mine.

Roxette has been harassed and threatened by conspiracy theorists through Facebook. Wolfbird has been harassed and threatened by conspiracy theorists through Facebook. My job is to keep that from happening to people. If a few harmless tools like Macca McIntool get caught in the crushing fist, so be it. I won't lose any sleep over it.

I'm not a CT and no, I don't support an RBE. I have no idea why I was blocked.

OK, I see the reason for different treatment of Facebook vs. this forum. I didn't think about it in those terms.

Awww The Cite was hurt because he was blocked and had to ask mommy why he was banned, now he is calling people nasty names....diddums.

I agree, Facebook is a completely different domain. Then again I was biased ahead of time. I keep my Facebook stuff private anyways. Hell, I even declined my parrents and nephews access to my Facebook.

There's nothing to really discuss about Michael Moore. He's a liar, an opportunist, a fraud and a hypocrite. His movies are fabrications presented as documentaries for gullible ideologues to swallow.
