The USS Liberty was a U.S. ship that was accidentally attacked by Israeli air forces during the Six Day War in 1967. Israeli forces mistook it for an Egyptian ship. Conspiracy theorists believe (naturally) that the attack was deliberate, and was some sort of false flag operation (*YAWN*) to get the U.S. involved in a war against Egypt. Which of course makes no sense at all, since most CTer's believe the U.S. is a puppet of Israel anyway and the evil JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS control everything the U.S. ever does. Because the Jews did 9/11. And the movies aren't the movement.

A bunch of crap now almost 45 years old. If your hometown CTers are scraping for this kind of shit, they've run out of material.
