Soon I'm going to be making some big changes to the site, and I wanted to get some feed back on what you guys -- the readers and contributors -- think should be added/changed in the next version of the site. If you have any ideas for new features or how things should be different, please post here.

I like the tabs at the top because they make for somewhat easy nagivation. Adding drop-down menus to them would make it even easier. For example, when I move the cursor over 'Alex Jones', the topics I see on the far left after having clicked on that link would appear in the drop down box:

Alex Jones
||
\/
Introduction
My Sources
Movies
Bohemian Grove
The Order of Death
Obama Deception

Daily cash prizes would be fine with me, too.

I really would like some alternate forum/site skins to choose from (once logged in). Black text on white background, though it's the standard... isn't the easiest thing on the eyes. Not sure how hard that is to code, I see it on a lot of other places though.

Also, maybe it's just me and I can't find it... but an easy link to our wiki projects page would be nice. So far, the only times I've visited it I've had to go through the original blog post.

@aaronmhatch,

The top tabs for specific people/films are going to be removed, but a side menu on every page will have the most popular articles, after it's up, you can then tell me how you'd improve it. As for the cash prizes, pssh.

@Sil,

That shouldn't be *too* hard.

Maybe we need a dedicated forum for disgruntled ex-Zeitgeisters? So the rest of us can get back to debunking 9/11 Twoof, reptoids, Austrian economists and Alex Jones nonsense.

I have a suggestion... less disinfo please. I know they pay your bills and everything but seriously. You know I'm thinking of telling them I don't want to work for them anymore, and they don't even provide a dental plan! This NWO isn't what they promised it would be.

>>"Maybe we need a dedicated forum for disgruntled ex-Zeitgeisters?"

Technically we already have sub-forums, but everything is listed on the main page as well. Since we don't get THAT much activity, I think it's a good idea to have all topics on one page... or things would certainly get neglected.

Urgh... I hope the only food there isn't those dreadful tea cakes again. You'd think with all the money they spend on black ops they could provide some decent food for us.

Edward, is the only way to access this site's articles by clicking on "More" on the top bar? If so, they seem marginalized and out of plain view. To me, they're the most important part of this site; so perhaps there should be an "Articles" tab?

Other than that, I like the new design. It certainly looks more modern and attractive.

No, the popular stuff will be on the featured page, plus on the left side (except when you're on the forums) you have a list of the most popular articles.

Ah, I see the 'Popular Articles' section now. I had to scroll down a bit to see it - I'm using Chrome, so who knows if that's why.

If you're a jerk using adblock then there would be a big space, otherwise there's an ad there.

Edward - perhaps you could flip the 'Main' and 'Popular Articles' sections? If you do that, visitors will more readily see the articles. Removing the 'Main' section altogether may be feasible considering those links are presented at the top right of the page.

A quick 'how to' for the various forum functions would be nice. Things that I have yet to be able to figure out :-D Like how to add a profile picture, how to add quotes, how to change your password, etc.

Not really related to site layout, but more content...I'm working on an article addressing global warming denial. I'm tired of people coming on here demanding that "An Inconvenient Truth" be listed alongside Zeitgeist as a conspiracy film, and I'm really tired of this "CRU emails fraud!" theory.

I like the new design too. My suggestion is that there should be more links on the links page, there are only seven, and half of those are more general skepticism sites instead conspiracy theory related. It would be cool if there were lots of links categorized by the subject, like 9/11, moon hoax, chemtrail, ect.

@Muertos

Well, if anyone is willing to subject themselves to the beautiful voice of Al Gore, we should at least have an article to talk about what he was factually incorrect about, or we could just read other reviews.

@Sky

Have any links to suggest? I would like to have more, but I'm just so cool that I don't really know a lot of other debunking sites. I'm the center of the universe you know.

I think reviews of more mainstream films would be pretty cool, even if they aren't conspiracy films. These being things like the already mentioned "An Inconvenient Truth" and the like.

Edit: It would also be a lot less time consuming than reviewing an Alex Jones film, since I have to imagine the majority of it is accurate.

I also think we should have an easy link to the wiki articles. Now that I'm working on the global warming denial one it's very hard to find the wiki to go back into it and make changes.

It's unclear to me the status of the wiki articles--are they visible to everyone, or just us?

I took down the link to wiki a while back because I started to get tons of emails from people who thought they were real articles that were complete. They can be seen by everyone.

Ferseus: why don't we change the incomplete ones to drafts, so the only ones that show up are the ones that have been finished?

Either that, or make the wikis visible only by administrators, and when they're complete we "graduate" them to the status of articles?
