Level: 8 CS Original | It's been nearly a decade since the horrible events of 9/11, which as you recall was supposed to be America's Reichstag Fire, and the PATRIOT Act was supposed to be the Reischtsag Fire Decree, yet... I was in the US last fall and I don't recall: + The elimination of free speech Let's think back though, the PATRIOT Act didn't do any of those things, but one could argue it violates the constitution for warrantless searches and so forth. So, let's face it, it's nothing at all like what happened in Nazi Germany. If they were going to declare martial law, why didn't they do it after 9/11 when people were hyped up? Nearly 10 years on and absolutely nothing other than more predictions from people like Alex Jones. I guess we can wait 10 more years, until then... any day now! | |||||
