Brainwashing you for money

OK so I was out today in a really leafy suburb of my area, actually one of the oldest and well to do areas, and I was wandering about the antique shops looking for things. Any way I found a freemason handbook, a small blue leather bound pocket book with gilding and with no writing on its cover signifying what it is.
Inside its labelled 'the universal book of craft masonry 6th edition 1952' with a publishers sticker in it.
In it are descriptions of rituals, initiations, raising, passing, ceremonies, charges of each degree, explanations of tracing boards, installation of masters, full investiture of officers, and presentation of grand lodge certificate.

Interestingly this also has some extra leafs that look to be from a master masons initiation including hand notes and footnotes discussing his preperation for the ceremony. The book itself also has some little notes through it. I thought it would be interesting to own and have read through as it might provide some information to laugh at conspiracy theorists with. Only cost me £3 and is probably a quite rare book to get hold of.

Yeah I was laughing to myself in the antique shop, as the woman selling it did not know what it was, she just thought it was a prayer book, so i kept quiet and wandered off thinking this could be a fun read.

Let us know if you find anything in there about ruling the world, or sacrificing people at the Bohemian Grove!

I may scan this book and turn it into a digital copy for members here at some point soon, that way you can all own a copy.

Probably a good thing to do in a historical sense anyway as it is an old book.

The chapter contains:

Preface (Page 5)
Index. (Page 6)
General instructions (Page 7-8)

First Degree
Opening the lodge (Page 9)
Ceremony of initiation (Page 14)
