Z1 is a surface work. In the 25 min section on religion I slam through about 500 points. Each one takes one or more source references to understand, along with a basis of interpretation that is consistent with mythological history and tradition.

However, to deal with this, I have been slowly updating Z1 and will release a 300 page "Source and Debunker Guide" for it. This way, the lazy, "webskeptic - conspiracy science - zeitgeist challenge" defenders will not be able to slide by with their one sided and circular arguments that are so common in their attempts at refutation.

Is it 300 pages so nobody will read it and trust that, because it's so long, it's automatically true? $20 says he uses DM Murdock/Acharya S and Gerald Massey for most sources, or a least the most important ones. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just ghost written by Acharya S, we'll know if it goes on weird, incoherent tirades.

I'm not sure how you can debate something like Horus being a sun god, or "sun = son."

lol @ post, Peter Joseph CAPITALIZES random words like most CTs do. I'm glad Peter Joseph had the cojones to actually mention my site by name for once.

Circular logic. EL FUCKING OH EL.

Zeitgeist Challenge people are utter morons, they believe in the second and third parts of the film, just not part 1, they wouldn't link my site because I'm not "awake."

Webskeptic is cool though.

So I guess this means he's still peeved he didn't win the Zeitgeist Challenge's $250 for doing that "Zeitgeist Unrebunked" show or whatever it was called?

Not sure if you guys noticed, but it seems Peter Joseph is posting much more often then he did in the past. Before was the occasional comment; the only way you could get to him was via asking a quest for his radio show. Now he seems to be quite the active moderator/global admin.

I heard that he stopped doing the radio show so he could just work on the new movie from now on.

I hope that Edward comes up with some troll classifications for this forum. I'm trying to gain enough attack points to become a Level 12 Cave Troll.

If we're all going to sit around and play D&D, I want in. *pulls 20-sided dice out of little velvet bag* Maybe VTV and Plautus want to play? When we get hungry we can send Danny out to bring back pizza.

I don't want to play with those guys. VTV the mighty troll-hunter would take the game too seriously and probably wear a costume while playing. Plautus would throw a temper tantrum when he didn't win and call everyone fagots. Danny can't play because D&D is too occult and also he doesn't like to do anything fun.

Bonfire at Edward's house! We can sit around the fire, make smores and talk about how much we hate the Zeitgeist Movement. Then Diane can spoil the mood by telling us all about how we should be advocating for a new 9/11 investigation.

I'll bring a CD player and we can play Danny some old school heavy metal. Anyone else like King Diamond? *clicks on Last.fm*

Danny doesn't like music, and he doesn't like fun, so he probably wouldn't like King Diamond.

I don't think this question warrants its own thread so...why in hell is there such a focus on Zeitgeist here? Is it because TZM is...I dunno...creepier and more woo-woo than the Alex Jones camp/prison planet?

Is it because the forums are small, and they are well aware of conspiracy science, so there is a certain level of interaction? do you guys ever go on the prison planet forums?

an aside: how many CT forums or youtube channels have you guys been banned from? I have had my main account, and several other sock puppets banned from changeDAchannel (Obama Deception on YT). I only posting challenging questions, very little trolling.

My focus has been Alex Jones and Infowars/Prison Planet for a long time now, the Zeitgeist Movement directly interacts with us far more than AJ (which never has that I know of), mostly because they have something to prove. The good thing about the AJ community is most are anti-intellectualist, which leads to the bad thing about TZM, most are pseudo-intellectuals like PJ who think they're qualified to not only claim racism is a mental illness, but also to diagnose me and claim that I have said mental illness because I disagree with him.

I've been working on several Alex Jones movies off and on for a long time, and I've talked about him more on my blog as well. I've said it many times, my Zeitgeist stuff is 2 1/2 years old, I've moved on, but they're hell bent on their tiny movement changing the world by labeling everyone else as mentally ill and/or enemies, meanwhile casting out opposing opinion.

What's probably the most retarded aspect of PJ is that he'll use Bill O'Reilly-type spin on anything his enemies do. For example, if he says something about me, and I don't respond, that automatically makes him right. However, if I do respond, he's still right because he can turn on his Large Hadron Arrogance Collider and bust out pseudo-intellectual psycho-babble protons about why he's always right no matter what and to question him is insanity. Don't worry though, if you point out his hypocrisy or how he's wrong he'll claim it's a straw-man and then just 'move on'.

Pseudo-science, pseudo-intellectualism, and pseudo-psychiatry all wrapped up in an arrogant little gift box called the Zeitgeist Movement. All kinds of magic up in this bitch, right Peter?

Do what Peter command shall by the whole of the law.

Peter Joseph attacked me because I'm not afraid to call him on his bullshit and it's easy, I'm a nobody, I don't have legions of loyal, unquestioning followers to flood forums and back me up. I provide at least some balance and opposing opinion to him, and he just absolutely hates that. What does that tell you about him?

Peter Joseph will always be right and always be an arrogant douche.

You may think I'm arrogant (I am), you may think I'm a douche (probably), but I admit to being wrong (see various articles were corrections were made) and I'm not afraid to say I'm wrong, furthermore I'm not telling people "we can change the world!" and telling them that posting on an Internet forum or listening to BlogTalkRadio will do it.

When Edward first created a discussion group for his site (first it was just a facebook group and then this forum was created) people didn't talk about the Zeitgeist Movement that much, mostly we talked about the conspiracy theories in the first Zeitgeist and other related CT's. But in the last month or so several members and former members of TZM joined the forum, and that is probably why it is discussed so much.

I think the Zeitgeisters have chosen to steer this forum to focus upon them by their own action. Until the last few months the conspiracies we dealt with here were pretty evenly distributed. For a while I actually thought global warming denial was going to be the next "hot" conspiracy thing that we'd be dealing with in 2010, which is one reason why I boned up on it earlier in the year. However, the Zeitgeisters started dispatching their own people here (VTV, and Brenton before he left the movement) to argue with us, and that was followed by (my perception) several disgruntled and banned Zeitgeisters who saw this forum as a way to vent their frustrations with the movement in a place where they knew people from the movement would see, because it's well documented that the ZM higher-ups read this forum religiously.

If Peter Merola wasn't so hell-bent on convincing his flock that he can do no wrong, I doubt this site would have become well-known as the main hangout for anti-Zeitgeisters. Now it's clear that what happens here gets Merola's attention, whether directly or through others (like VTV) who monitor this forum on a regular basis.
