My name is Corey, and I was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and moved to MA in 2005. Boy Scouts, Order of the Arrow, skateboarding, rock climbing and music is my life. I fell into the world of conspiracy theories in about October 2009, so not very long ago, when my friend had me watch The Obama Deception. After this I fell into a depression, where I was questioning myself, and if this world was even real. I found this website early in 2010, and it has helped me dig myself out of my hole. Unfortunately i cannot sway my friend away from the world of conspiracy theories.

What you were feeling, was NOT depression. You're friend was doing his american duty, by showing you information warfare that can and is being used against the coporate fat cats and their toadies. I think you need to take a second look that piece of work and think a little more into about what it's saying.

Obama has a cult of idiots who were shouting up and down screaming "OBAMAMAAM!!" and yet if you so much as question them about any of his politics or acomplishments you're called a racist.

Well come to post-racial america my friend. We're political correctness is destroying the quest and path to truthful and righteous journalism and patriotism. You were not in a hole brother. You were awakend.

Hey there and welcome, Corey. Danny is not in any sort of position to diagnose you, and I'm sure CT's can have a depressing effect on many people. It seems from the context of your post that you have overcome these CT's, and for that I congratulate you. Edward has written a help section, perhaps you should check it out to see if you can reason with your friend: http://conspiracyscience.com/site/help/</p>

It has been my only personal experience that Conspiracy theorists are very hard to "turn", and that those who do outgrow those beliefs do so of their own volition.

Danny, you say that his friend was doing his "patriotic duty" by showing "information warfare" that can be used against corporate fat cats. Could you explain what information this is, and how it is being used against these people? If there is any sort of legislation that is "pro-bank", conspiracy theorists say "OMG! LOOK ITS PROOF BANKS CONTROL THE GUBMINT". If there's any sort of "anti-bank" regulation, like the ones recently proposed by the IMF, then it's "OMG GUBMINT CONTROL OVER THE BANKS!" So really, you just can't win.

I wouldn't deny that Obama certainly has a following of people who don't know dick about his policies and simply like him because he is Obama. Just strolling down Venice beach the other day, I saw like 20 bedazzled Obama t-shirts. The racism card isn't played as often as you think it is. There is responsible opposition to Obama and his policies, and there is some opposition that is undeniably rooted in racism... but when this is called out people react just like you do. After all, you're "just asking questions", right?

Back to Corey: What's the Order of the Arrow? Do you play any instruments, or just an avid listener?

I'm not trying to take over this guy's thread so I'll keep it short.

The information is that those with wealth have a great deal on what is allowed to past and what isn't, take the electric car for example.

@Sil, The Order of the Arrow is an "honor society" for Boy Scouts, based around the culture of Native Americans. I am an avid listener, but I also play guitar, mandolin, and I played the saxophone for six years.

What do you mean you question if the world was real? like it was in that crappy movie along time ago about the bullet time or something?

There is a smokescreen through.

It's happening behind the junk food news and celeberty fanfare.

And I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that the infrastructure to support electric cars was not really in place at the time. How many charging stations do you see compared to gas stations? This is why hybrids work, because they can use both. This is why the popularity of them is catching on. Realistically, I'm sure the big oil companies did (and do) their best to try and squash any idea of an electric car since it would surely hurt profits... and when they're ready to adapt new energy sources, they'll probably not oppose it anymore. And you realize that car companies are not oil companies. But this is all besides the point, that being: Alex Jones movies are full of rehashed lies, misquotes, and blatantly wrong interpretations of reality. The Obama Deception being no exception.

Ah, sweet. I play guitar too, and have been wanting to pick up the Mandolin. Or maybe the Banjo...

thanks you just proved my point. because the coporations know that something can hurt them, they'll do whatever they can and will to make sure it doesn't happend, bu using money to influcence those in charge so that they and other real lawmakers don't take action. (i.e. surprise checks on records, where's money going, sweatshops that type of things.)

What can I tell you?

" Alex Jones movies are full of rehashed lies, misquotes, and blatantly wrong interpretations of reality. The Obama Deception being no exception. "

YOU interpret it wrong. How do you explain this:

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as "internationalists" and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it. -David Rockefeller"

Wait, so in your opinion... who's in charge? I thought you said it was the corporations, but now it's them just using money to influence those who are in charge. (Your words). And by your own admission, don't you see that they only care about profits? Not global enslavement.

Why would corporations need to pay money to influence other corporations and globalists if you think they're all on the same page anyways?
