I've seen a lot of things about occult imagery in the media, etc.

There are a lot of similarities here...but are they coincidence or something else?

Paranoid fucking moron. I stopped reading before he could ruin these authors for me. A guy like him seems like he'll see occultism in ANYTHING.

^That. Stopping reading it does wonders in worrying less and less about it.

Just so you know...it's not something I've read recently (I haven't read this kind of stuff in quite a long time)...but it's something that has made me worry for a while...and unfortunately, he HAS ruined these authors for me. The thing is, I love the Narnia stories. I don't want to read them thinking, "what if it's some kind of spooky occult stuff?" I sort of have some psychological scars because I came across the article a couple of years ago.

Just about any fantasy writing could be considered occult, and paranoid folks like this writer most certainly will. I'm sure he considers Harry Potter occultism too. Chances are, he sees occultism everywhere he looks.

The thing is, it's not occultism. Lord of the Rings and Narnia are fantasy stories. Nothing more, nothing less. Just because there's magic does not mean it's occult. It means it's fantasy.

I've learned that it is never "something else".

Stop worrying about this shit, you can't come running to CS every time you read some BS conspiracy article. You'll never overcome your fear of conspiracy theories this way.

I say that because I used to be the same way, the only way to get over it is to arm yourself with the tools you need to analyze this stuff and determine why it's bullshit.

The only thing that still kind of haunts me is the imagery...when the author starts comparing the images to occult images...and they look really similar.

Oh, and the fact that certain things resemble terms from an occult group too much.

The people who ramble on about "occult symbols" don't know the first thing about them, basically anything is an occult symbol if they want it to be.

^Sil's right.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occult</p>

Just about anything can be occult if you want it to be. And, it's also only sinister if you want it to be.

I'd say that the occult is just as absurd as religion, but I think that might make the situation worse rather than better.

OH SHI-

Just as Sil said, half of the so called 'occult' imagery is not related at all to the occult. Just like the so called Illuminati symbolism has no link to the real Illuminati

If Satan is messing with anyone its by planting paranoia in people minds with CT's like this............

Following CT's is like a rabbit whole that will never end, you begin to believe one theory then stranger and stranger theory's...
Take into consideration that different CT's contradict themselves, if you believed all of them then that wouldn't make any sense.

Question you said you were Christian right, let me tell you again, God does not want you to be paranoid, he does not want your life to be consumed by CT's.

"Question you said you were Christian right, let me tell you again, God does not want you to be paranoid, he does not want your life to be consumed by CT's."

THANK YOU!

Becoming obsessed with CTs is dangerous in a variety of ways. Letting CTs rule your mind and letting them scare you like that are ways that Christians can lose sight of God.

That's what I would think anyway. CT are stupid shit whether you're Christian or not.
