Level: 3 CS Original | Well I gotta admit that countries did do alot of wierd experiments at different points in history. I were reading that the Japanese used to test Grenades and other weapons on live prisoners too. My take on it is that it was mainly to do with the Cold War. During that time the USA and Russia both wanted to gain the upper hand on eachother. One of the main things MKUltra wanted to achieve was being able to force people to give up information (captured spies perhaps). I know not all of it can be justified by the Cold War but most of these programs were started in the 50's and deserted towards the 1970's. | |||||
