Alex will often have people on that he disagrees with in some aspect, but there will always be some fringe crazy belief they share to provide just enough confirmation bias to have them on the show.

Good analysis, Matt.

I'm thinking of the infamous show where Jones had Peter Merola on, and AJ wound up accusing him of being Illuminati or some such garbage. Yet of course they both agree that 9/11 was an inside job!

He had Noam Chomsky on once, and when Chomsky started talking about the Founding Fathers not being deities, Alex Jones started making fun of him. After Chomsky was off the air, Alex Jones started saying he was in the NWO and so on.

Do you guys catch Alex Jones on the radio or through podcasts?

I don't think he's available in my area.

If you aren't in Austin, TX then you have to listen via podcast. But fair warning; that guy's voice alone is enough to make me want to start wearing a tinfoil hat.

If you're a true militia nut you can listen on shortwave radio.

Anyways, there's no point in listening to his show. It blows. Just go here to see anything worth the time to do so:

He's had Alan Colmes on a few times, and they had quite a few disagreements.

he had one of the rothchilds on and they were having a huge disagreement about climate change. I think its still in utube, but in general he doesn't have on any serious scientists, historians or commentators who would absolutely tare him apart with their knowledge

"he doesn't have on any serious scientists, historians or commentators who would absolutely tare him apart with their knowledge"
But that is not because he fears that they would make him look stupid. But because like most CTers he sees them as "mindless idiots" and sees himself as the only source of "turth".

Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, and Brian Dunning should each get their own radio sessions with Alex Jones.

He'd be hamburger meat by the end of it.

I don't think they would lower themselves to Alex's level.

Maybe Jones should make a feeble attempt to get to their's then.

I think it would be hilariously entertaining, while also painful to watch.

Alex Jones really isn't that big. He's just some fat guy with an obnoxious Internet show for the most part.

I saw Chuck Norris on one time plugging a political book he wrote...........Alex tried to get him to comment about some obscure conspiracy stuff but Chuck Norris just said he didn't know what he was talking about changed the subject and left.

He wouldn't want to get any credible guests on if possible, they might put a kink in his cashflow after all.

This is the kind of beligerent arsehole who even disagrees with people he should have a lot in common with.
