They are both well spoken, failed art school students who want to create a new society, and use conspiracy theories to drum up support.

Anything I'm missing?

The comparison is really shitty:

1) Hitler wasn't accepted to art school; Merola was accepted to music school, but he dropped out.
2) Hitler wanted to bring back Germans to their former glory and wrapped it around a fantasy involving Jews, Communists, etc; Merola wants a new society closer to utopian Marxism. You're being far too broad with this. FDR wanted a new society, that doesn't mean he equals Hitler.
3) An unbelievable amount of people (all across the social and political spectrum) used conspiracy theories to drum up support for things during the early 20th century, so there's no way you can accurately use this to compare Hitler to Merola, or to anyone else. They still do it today, Alex Jones and Bob Avakian have little in common politically or socially, yet they both lie constantly in order to push their agendas.

Long story short: Hitler = Hitler, Merola = Merola

I agree that the comparison is not appropriate.

It's no excuse, but I made this thread when I was tipsy at 2:30am. Turns out I made another stupid thread at another forum I post on, something about Bill Clinton's mother being a lesbian. Go figure.

@The Real Roxette I find it funny your going to take the word of Dr. Peter Joseph Merola on if he attended a music school or not at that did he drop out or something else happened. The guy can't tell the truth worth anything you will need to get records that he attended or dropped out or whatever at the college he said he did. I simply can't take Dr. Peter Joseph's Merola's word on it.

As for the comparison with Hitler. Hitler is way more famous than Peter will ever be.
