No matter what anyone ever says about this movie from this moment on - this is probably the most damning and the most awesome.

PS. I love this show, and highly recommend it to our atheist residents at the forum.

I see VoR in the comments. And he still doesn't know what a strawman is.

In the comments: "Judaism [is] a pagan religion", sounds like someone's strainin' to do some explainin'.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQeiKYqCETk - Smacking down a creationist.

On a side note, creationists bother the hell out of me. Even more than twoofers. Especially the term "intelligent design." Yeah...I've got one tube in my throat that's used for both breathing and for food, so if something gets stuck I will choke to death. Sounds more like "stupid design."

LOL, for the record I guess you can call me a creationist but I find these guys point of view interesting as well. I'm not gonna bombard everyone saying I have proof for everything cause I don't, and I don't think I am meant to. But these guys that supposedly do have "proof" give me a good laugh, like

Mighty god has made bananas with a non slip surface?

Wow.

Shame he didn't do that with a pineapple.

The Atheist Experience aren't that great in their objections in my opinion, they don't know enough to debate 911 either. Logic wise, its solid, but you need more than logic to debate CT's than you do with religion.

Well, typically they are debating theists. Not conspiracy theorists.

I don't think they really care that much about CTs, they probably just cover them because they get so many emails on the subject that it becomes annoying and they have to respond.

The most ironic part about the banana thing is that the modern sweet banana is a hybrid of other banana strains that were individually not as good for eating. AND, they're STERILE and have to be reproduced asexually by farmers via offshoots. Not only are they not God's creation, but they wouldn't exist without man!

Creationists rationalize the fuck up by saying man wouldn't have been able to engineer new types of bananas if God hadn't given us the ability to do so.

This is why I don't debate Creationists. Its pointless.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kEB7kf6aPA - Banana argument ripped to shreds.

Edit: LOL @ the first comment; "My erect penis is the same size and shape as a banana, & fits perfectly in my hand. Therefore, God created masturbation."

@ED
"duncanlecombre,

What do you mean you're a Creationist?"

Well I'm Christian, so I suppose I'm a Creationist, unless you mean Creationist in the I think I have all this scientific proof sense, which I don't. I don't completely ignore ACTUAL science either, I have this understanding that scientists want answers and just saying "God did it" isn't a good enough answer.

I don't know if that answers your question, or exactly what your asking for that matter.

BTW I think the banana thing is stupid, If I wanted to be the "devils advocate" you could even argue that natural selection and evolution could have caused the banana trees to evolve its fruit to make it more appealing for other animals to eat, there by spreading it's seed, (although now that I think of it how do banana trees spread their seed they don't have any?).

BTW snob goblin God DID create masturbation.LOL

I'm an atheist, but I don't think religion and science have to necessarily be mutually exclusive.

For example: Unitarians.

We don't "debunk" religion here.

My personal opinion is that religion should be respected unless it treads into the realm of science. Very, very few people of faith do that. It is an extreme minority.

Maybe it should be respected for practical reasons, but on principle it deserves no special treatment from other irrational beliefs and can be just as harmful.

In the evolution vs creationism debate, it is generally between evolutionary scientists and young earth creationists, who believe that the earth is only 6,000 years old, which is completely at odds with all known science.
