I tried to inject some rationality in my comment:

http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/how-can-we-have-a-healthy-economy-if-virtually-everything-we-eat-and-drink-is-constantly-making-us-all-sick</p>

Needless to say, this blog also publishes CT's about the Federal Reserve System, and pro-Ron Paul articles. It illustrates Mark Hoofnagle's theory of crank magnetism.

BTW, I don't know why a libertarian, like a Ron Paul obsessive, would worry about pesticides in his diet and buy organic produce. Libertarian websites like Reason magazine and the Cato Institute have published article after article about the wonders of pesticides and the irrationality of fearing them in our food supply.

I can provide citations:

I've asked that very same question advancedatheist, no answer yet, but apparently the Libertarian Party and related groups, despite support for things like you mentioned, are not a part of "them." Sort of like how everyone in congress, except for Ron Paul and Denis Kucinich are a part of "them." Luckily "they" allow at least 1 or 2 truth-knows into their midst, it must be some sort of illuminati-style affirmative action.

I don't understand the CT about ordinary products as some kind of elite project to "poison" the masses. The richest people use the same products and breath the same chemtrails-contaminated air everyone else uses. They brush their teeth with fluoridated toothpaste, use cell phones, take common prescription drugs like statins and guzzle soft drinks, for example. (Warren Buffett loves Coca-Cola, from what I've read.)

In a way, this resembles the CT's about the Federal Reserve System. The richest people use the same money everyone else uses, despite the propaganda about the alleged economic toxicity of fiat money when we have to handle it.

Crank magnetism. That's why fringies love both Kucinich and Paul: they're cranks too. There is no logical or political consistency.

Crank magnetism arises from a measurable cognitive blind spot about recognizing competence in both oneself and in others. That explains why you see people hold numerous crank beliefs simultaneously, for example, Austrian economics with CT's and Mormonism, like Glenn Beck.

I've gotten in tons of arguments with Paultard moonbats who think he's an anti-war and pro-pot legalization crusader. They usually shut up when I link them Ron Pauls voting record in the House.

They worship this guy and yet they never once look at what he actually does. He votes no on pretty much anything involving education, environment or social safety nets. And yet here are these moonbats cheering for an Austrian economist, evolution denying Bible thumper.

Its insane. It truly is.

Speaking of the Fed, toxins and CT's, I wonder if anyone claims that our paper money has poisons on it which we can absorb through our skin when we handle it.

The author of this piece shows what happens in a truly libertarian society, namely, the parts of California populated by Mexicans and ignored by the state's regulators:

We'd get this everywhere if the Paultards had their way.
