 Level: 0 CS Original | I'm an anti-truther currently in Ohio. This site has been a very useful resource (and time-saver) for me during the last year or so. I've sucessfully un-brainwashed 2.5 people (one occasionally has relapses but can quickly be returned to sanity with logical discussion and bans on watching any more youtube), though I fear I've lost one completely to delusions of reptoids (sigh). Level: 0 CS Original | Hmmm. I'm not sure about those, but I can see what I can do. I can tackle physics, history and religion conspiracies fairly well though. Needless to say, Zeitgeist Part I was one of the best comedies I'd seen in a while. | |||||

Why not start a thread on "What the bleep do we know"? It uses physics as a base to argue all kinds of off the wall, new age stuff. Obviously if you disagree with Part 1 of Zeitgeist you're a hardcore Christian, at least that's what they tell me, and they're never wrong, so it must be true. | |||||

I recently had an exchange with a fellow called Brad270 who was whoring the widely-discredited but persuasive-to-the-uninformed meme that "the greenhouse effect violates the Second Law of Thermodynamics." I explained why this theory is totally wrong--for one thing, we'd be living on a block of ice if it was true--but someone with a science background could probably articulate it better than I could. It's in the "CRU Hacked! Global warming a fraud!" topic. | |||||
