I've listened to more Bill Cooper than you have I'd wager. Hell, I doubt you've even listened to most of the stuff you've linked here. What, you thought you were sharing something new? The guy was doing this stuff longer than you've been alive. You didn't really stumble on a secret gold mind of knowledge, most debunkers heard about Bill Cooper years ago.

I am not going to sit through material I've heard a thousand times before just so you can ignore any points I'll dispute.

There is a difference between having an open mind and having a hole in your head.

First of all I am not some young punk. I am 30 years old. When I was in sixth grade I so the murder in Wako, TX. I remimber when the only way to spread the truth was tape trading.
I can understand your dislike of Alex Jones and TZM. But I don't remimber Bill selling any t-shirts.

I live in Eagar, Arizona, and have for several years. I knew Bill Cooper, and still maintain a friendship with the family. In fact, since I work a seasonal job in the National Forest in the summer, I need a place to park my motorhome in the winter. This winter I am parked at the very house that Bill used to broadcast from and died at.
let me invite any that suspect a 'conspiracy' to visit our town and take a tour. I will introduce you to the deputy that shot him, and tried to then save his life. Let me introduce you to the man who' father he shot dead at the same location just a day before he died. let me introduce you to townspeople, who like me knew Bill, and knew he was a bitter cranky old drunk. let me introduce you to the bartender at Bill's favorite bar, and let him tell you how on several occasions when Bill got a little 'tipsy', he joked about what he called "the bullshit" he broadcast on his shortwave show, and the jokes he made about "milking the weak-minded fools"that sent him money, bought his videos, ect., to the same bartender.
What happened to Bill is simple, he refused to file taxes, claiming "sovereign citizenship". he also publically made statements that he owned "machine guns, and sawed off shotguns", as we found out, a lie proven by a post-mortum search of his home. He also made public statements and "dared the police to try to take him".
He shot a local sherriff deputy that was ordered to his house to investigate just what was going on at the Cooper house. Bill went out into his yard and with no warning, shot the deputy, who had not at that point drawn his weapon. He then sent his family away, and told them goodbye. The next day, more deputies arrived, and Bill came out shooting, winging another deputy. One deputy shot him, not "in the back of the head", as one here has claimed, but in the area between the neck and shoulder. That deputy, who knew Bill, then continually begged Bill to put down his gun, which he still held. (most of us residents know each other, it is that small a town) Despite being asked, and yes despite the deputies and neighbors begging Bill to put down his weapon, he chose to lie there and bleed out. Bill Cooper chose to bleed to death rather than put down his weapon and live.
Why he chose this, only he knows, and he took that secret to the grave with him.(which I can show you)
Those of us that live here, knew Bill Cooper, and know the others involved, know that the theories of government conspiracies involving Bill Cooper are simply bunk. We have no idea why these theories are perpetrated, but the residents of this town see them for the lies they are. The only explanation that is plausible for the continued fantasies regarding Bill Cooper must be profit related. That is the real conspiracy, those that take advantage of the weak-minded for profit by perpetuating conspiracy theories like the ones surrounding the death of Bill Cooper.

Well we can discuss all day long about the second amendment and guns, but the constitution does explicitly state that the government does have the right to tax the people and also force them to do it. We can even see examples after the beginning of the Nation, such as when George Washington introduced a new tax, the first thing some people wanted to do was overthrow him, be he pointed out that it's different now, because before it was England taxing, but this is a government elected by the people and can tax how it sees fit, he then sent in some militia to smash the rebellion. So what of this? Well Washington wasn't some anti-government, anti-tax Saint like many people believe, he was the exact opposite.

I'm sure then many people would bring up Thomas Jefferson, but then forget that he did the same exact thing, and even created a paper/national currency built on tax dollars in order to pay off debts.

So much for the glory some people claim they have. They were the same rich, white, privileged men they are now, they just wore more wigs back then.

Take the same amount of scrutiny that you apply to slack's story and apply it to Bill Cooper's. The thing about slack is that, there are many things that he could prove. That he's a member of the town, the location where Bill was shot (house and body), and as Edward suggested, having the people involved be interviewed. I'm on board with that idea, that truly would be a great video.
